Simone Biles
Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born on the 14th of March 1997 in Columbus, Ohio U.S.A. Biles was the very first gymnast from the United States in history to have won four gold medals during the same Games. in Rio de Janeiro, she also became the first woman to have won consecutive World All-Around titles. Biles along with her younger sister Adria was adopted by Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles the grandparents of Spring Texas (in the Houston area) and grew up in the Houston area. Simone first became interested in gymnastics while she was just six. Coach Aimee Borman brought her to Bannon's Gymnastix, where they went for an outing. Biles was awarded gold and bronze medals at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships 2010 in floor and vault before making her debut in 2011 in the elite category of the competition. Biles was a dominant athlete less than two year later. Biles made headlines for her constant performance her exuberant attitude and the level of effort she introduced throughout each competition--vault bars that were uneven, balance beam and ground work.
