Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is an American journalist for the broadcast industry. Her most well-known role is the anchor of the CNN morning show At This Hour. Bolduan was previously a cohost of the CNN weekday Morning Programs New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan has contributed to CNN's coverage of the presidential and 2012 elections. Bolduan has also been an official correspondent for the congressional office at Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. Bolduan covered congressional and legislative activities, like discussions on raising the federal debt ceiling and the super committee's discussions. Her general assignment work has included reporting about The Christmas Day Bombing, Obamacare's Supreme Court Decision and implementation of the stimulus program by the government in 2009. In 2007, she was hired by CNN as a correspondent for the national for CNN Newsource. She was a CNN Newsource national correspondent, offering breaking news and reportage on feature stories to more than 800 CNN Newsource affiliated stations. In the past, she has worked at NBC News MSNBC as well as WTVD-TV. She lives with her family in New York City.
